Key Responsibilities Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients, ensuring an accurate understanding of their needs and circumstances. Provide individualized and family therapy sessions, tailored to the specific mental health needs of each patient. Complete timely and detailed documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations, while adhering to all compliance protocols. Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, and relapse prevention strategies to maintain patients' stability and wellbeing. Create comprehensive discharge plans to facilitate smooth transitions for patients returning to independent functioning. Maintain adherence to all federal and state regulations, as well as NEHS policies and procedures, ensuring high standards of care are met. Engage in continuous professional development through training sessions, workshops, and educational opportunities. Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings, contributing your insights to enhance team collaboration and care quality. Stay current with licensure requirements by completing all mandated training and educational activities. Patient Population / Client Focus You will be serving a diverse clientele in the Rochester area, comprised of individuals and families facing various mental health challenges. Our patient population includes those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health issues. Qualifications A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that meets licensure requirements. Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of New York is required. Preferred Experience Experience in a community health setting or similar environment is preferred. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management. Familiarity with telehealth practices and technologies is advantageous. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with licensure and experience.
