This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing LMFTs to provide high-quality therapy from the comfort of their own homes while maintaining a strong connection to our community-focused clinic. Our team operates primarily from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring a balanced professional life. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Collaborate with clients to co-create personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, aspirations, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to foster empowerment and resilience.

• Monitor client progress closely, regularly adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to foster growth within the team.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and challenge stigma surrounding mental health issues in our communities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at our center, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Additionally, our client base includes vulnerable populations, such as the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse, all of whom require sensitive and informed care. Your role is pivotal in creating a therapeutic alliance that facilitates healing and recovery, empowering clients to regain control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
