Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for individuals entering detox, considering their history, current substance use, and accompanying mental health challenges.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that address each client’s unique needs, incorporating interventions aimed at promoting recovery and emotional health.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing, to help clients navigate their recovery journey.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on coping strategies, emotional regulation, and interactions that foster connection and understanding among clients.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical doctors, addiction specialists, and peer support staff, to provide holistic and coordinated care.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, applying de-escalation techniques and providing immediate support to individuals in distress.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and local resources available to support their recovery.

• Ensure meticulous documentation of sessions, treatment plans, and client progress in compliance with organizational standards and legal requirements.

• Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to continuously enhance your skills and integrate new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults experiencing substance use disorders, who may also present with co-occurring mental health issues. This may include anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related conditions. Your work will involve building rapport and trust, as clients often feel vulnerable and uncertain at the start of their recovery process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Current LCSW licensure valid in Colorado.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, preferably in addiction treatment or a related mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
