Key Responsibilities\n

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct individual therapy sessions via video conferencing, focusing on improving clients' mental health through evidence-based practices.

• Encourage clients to express their thoughts and feelings, allowing for deeper self-awareness and insight into their personal relationships.

• Act as an advocate for your clients, assisting them in identifying and defining personal and therapeutic goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will primarily consist of stable adults, carefully screened to ensure that they have low acuity needs. Our thorough vetting process means you will work with individuals who are actively seeking support for personal growth and mental wellness, not those in severe crisis. Additionally, we will match you with clients that align with your areas of expertise and demographic preferences, enhancing the therapeutic relationship and efficacy of treatment.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current, full, and active license from the state board to practice independently without supervision, such as:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
\n
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

• No provisional licenses or recent disciplinary actions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and empathetic nature.

• Proficiency in using digital tools and a strong comfort level with technology.

Compensation and Benefits\n
