• Patient Ratios: RN: 1:5-6, CNA: 2 per shift

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients adhering to safety protocols
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry data, and manage non-titrating cardiac drips
• Administer medications, perform peripheral blood draws, and assist with patient mobility
• Collaborate closely with charge nurses, hospitalists, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Meditech Expanse EMR
• Support unit activities, including wound care, central line management, and use of wound vacs
• Float to similar units as needed, demonstrating adaptability and teamwork

What You Need
Required:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or willingness to reciprocate
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care; telemetry experience mandatory
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
• Excellent clinical skills in cardiac rhythms, drains, wound management, and telemetry equipment

Preferred:

• Previous Tele RN experience with non-titrating cardiac drips
• Experience with wound care, central lines, and dialysis management
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
