We are a dynamic and growing plaintiff-side California-based law firm dedicated to providing strategic counsel and litigation services in labor and employment law and personal injury.
Role Description
We are seeking one experienced Paralegal with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in California and federal courts to join our litigation team supporting both personal injury and employment law matters. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and are seeking long-term growth with a firm that values training, balance, and professional development. Spanish fluency is required.
Salary Range
$25-$30/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Provide litigation support to attorneys handling personal injury and employment law matters from intake through resolution
- Prepare, file, and e-file pleadings and other documents in California state and federal courts
- Draft correspondence, legal forms, and routine litigation documents
- Manage and organize physical and electronic case files; maintain records and litigation databases
- Coordinate scheduling, calendars, meetings, and litigation deadlines
- Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, vendors, and opposing counsel
- Assist with discovery, document production, and deposition preparation
- Support trial preparation, including exhibit management and logistics
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks as necessary to support litigation teams
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant
- Experience with California and federal court filings and procedures
- Experience supporting personal injury and/or employment law matters
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Paralegal certificate preferred but not required
