Dockside Marine has proudly served Northern Illinois since 1984 as one of the region's premier marine and powersports dealerships. We represent industry-leading brands including Sea-Doo®, Mercury Marine®, Nautique®, Godfrey Pontoons®, Can-Am®, Ski-Doo®, and FLOE® docks and lifts.
We're looking for an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Office Manager / Bookkeeper to oversee the daily accounting and administrative operations of our dealership. If you enjoy bookkeeping, customer service, and working in a fast-paced environment where every day is different, we'd love to meet you.
This is an excellent long-term opportunity to join an established, locally owned company with a friendly team and loyal customer base.
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Customer invoicing and payment processing
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with monthly bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Process boat, trailer, ATV, UTV, and personal watercraft titles and registrations
- Coordinate Illinois title transfers and license plate processing
- Process manufacturer warranty paperwork
- Assist with inventory tracking and floorplan financing administration
- Maintain accurate customer and financial records
- Answer incoming calls and provide outstanding customer service
- Support the Sales, Service, and Parts Departments
- Prepare reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
- Help keep the dealership organized and operating efficiently
Qualifications
- 2+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, office management, or dealership administration experience
- QuickBooks experience preferred
- Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Experience in marine, automotive, RV, powersports, or equipment dealerships is a plus

Tuesday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Closed Sunday & Monday
