Ready to write your story? Join MoFo as a SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR on our Marketing team! This role can be based in Seattle, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles or San Diego. About the Role As our Senior Business Development Coordinator , you will be an essential force behind one of our most dynamic practice areas, the Investigations + White Collar Defense Group. You will craft compelling pitches and RFPs, develop targeted marketing strategies across social media, CLE seminars, and industry affiliations, and shape how we show up in the market to win new business. You will collaborate closely with attorneys and marketing leadership to produce polished presentations, high‑impact collateral, and seamlessly executed events with the precision and client focus that defines our firm. Partner with Business Development Managers and the Marketing Central Team to execute BD plans, prepare pitches and RFPs, and track results with actionable recommendations. Edit and maintain practice group marketing materials including attorney bios, practice descriptions, and website content, drafting new collateral as needed. Build dynamic PowerPoint presentations for partner pitches and internal communications, applying firm brand standards and templates in coordination with Marketing Creative Services. Conduct research on prospective targets, industries, and markets using firm and online tools to support pitches, speaking opportunities, and sponsorship decisions. Coordinate all aspects of client development seminar logistics, communications, and implementation, analyze outcomes, and provide data‑driven recommendations. Coordinate timely submissions to legal directories and League Tables, coordinating with ranking authorities on specifications, codes, and deadlines. Monitor data integrity for BD‑related statistics and databases, preparing monthly analyses of deal data, pitch activity, and trends to support practice group communications. Collaborate across the Marketing team to strengthen communication, share insights, and ensure seamless delivery of marketing programs across offices. About You Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, with at least three years of professional services marketing experience; law firm background preferred. Familiarity with Investigations and White Collar Defense practice areas is a strong plus. Excellent writing, copy editing, and research skills, with the ability to produce focused, polished materials for specialized audiences. Meticulous attention to detail across all work product, including written content, data management, and presentations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through on complex assignments. Outstanding interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset, evidenced by the ability to work effectively across a matrixed organization. Client‑focused approach, with a proven ability to deliver high‑quality work that prioritizes client value and satisfaction. High degree of professionalism, including discretion with confidential information, accountability, and flexibility to meet the demands of the role.
