Job Description Security Officer Afternoon Patrol in Durham, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, lobbies, loading areas, and other common spaces, verifying access permissions when required and assisting with visitor direction and general property-related inquiries. Support daily property operations by reporting maintenance-related issues, observing vendor and/or contractor activity, and following post orders for after-hours access, deliveries, and incident response. Minimum Requirements Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
