This full-time position allows for the flexibility of remote work while providing critical mental health services to clients across Fresno, California and surrounding areas. Work Environment

This position is wholly remote, allowing counselors to connect with clients in a comfortable and flexible environment. Our telehealth facility is equipped with industry-standard technology to facilitate seamless interactions with clients. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, case managers, and other professionals, all dedicated to providing holistic care that addresses the unique needs of each client.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor at Dazzle Mental Health Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough initial assessments to determine the mental health needs of clients, followed by creating personalized treatment plans.
• Providing a variety of evidence-based therapy modalities to individuals, families, and groups, ensuring each session is tailored to meet the specific needs of clients.
• Collaborating in an interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care, attending regular meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress and strategies.
• Offering crisis intervention services and immediate support for clients experiencing acute psychological distress, which may include telephonic or video consultations.
• Participating in community outreach initiatives aimed at increasing mental health awareness, promoting services, and reducing stigma associated with mental illness.

The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds, encompassing various age groups and cultural identities. Our focus is on providing inclusive care that meets the varied needs of our community, including working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use disorders, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications

To qualify for the Mental Health Counselor position, candidates must:

• Hold a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Possess a master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to form strong therapeutic alliances with clients.
• Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity when working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Have strong organizational and time-management abilities to ensure the timely and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• Previous experience in a telehealth role is highly desirable, showcasing an ability to effectively engage with clients through digital platforms.
• Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of multicultural counseling practices.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client information smoothly.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials. In addition, Dazzle Mental Health Center provides:
