Reporting directly to the Controller, the Accounting Clerk will primarily be responsible for purchasing order, data entry, and assisting in the overall accounting function.Location: Northbrook, ILSchedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday on-site.Compensation: $24-$27/hrKey Responsibilities:Assist with general accounting tasks, including purchase order reconciliation and other ad hoc projectsHandle accounts payable tasks: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filingAssist with GL accounts, month end close, journal entriesCode documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codesCarry out additional related duties and help with special projects on an as-needed basisAdditional duties as assigned
