East Metro Counseling Services is seeking dedicated licensed mental health therapists (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) for full-time, remote positions within our growing outpatient psychiatric office located in Gresham, Oregon. Work Environment\n

This role will be wholly remote, allowing for flexibility in managing your professional commitments while providing essential patient care. Work hours are primarily Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand patients' psychological and emotional needs, leading to tailored treatment planning.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy, among others.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, creating a sense of community while addressing common mental health issues.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure a well-coordinated and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support to patients facing acute mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring continuity of care and legal compliance.

• Participate in case consultations and professional development activities, actively contributing to team discussions and learning opportunities.

• Stay informed on the latest advancements in mental health therapy practices and integrate relevant findings into your work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our outpatient services cater to a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a variety of mental health concerns. Our therapists are skilled in addressing issues like anxiety, mood disorders, relationship challenges, and trauma, ensuring a broad scope of practice that allows for specialized treatment based on individual patient needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience in conducting mental health assessments and developing effective, individualized treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes:
