Commercial Painter

About the Role:

Bring your commercial painting expertise to a large pharmaceutical campus in Fremont, CA! As a Commercial Painter with CBRE , you'll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing a world-class facility through high-quality finishes, surface prep, and specialty coatings. You'll take pride in your craft while working safely, efficiently, and collaboratively to deliver exceptional results for our client.

What You'll Do:

• Use necessary tools and equipment to complete duties related to application of varnish, polyurethane, primer paint, two part epoxy coating and other specialty coatings.
• Repair and remodel imperfections; replace drywall, mask, prepare, and protect surfaces to ensure facilities are properly maintained.
• Responsible for loading, unloading, preparing and cleaning job sites, materials, and tools.
• Clean and maintain equipment by removing all traces of used materials to sustain a safe and hazard-free work environment.
• Review assigned work orders. Estimate time and order materials, equipment, tools to complete assigned work.
• Ensure that all tools and equipment are thoroughly cleaned, stored, and maintained for optimum performance and safety.
• Participate in all required HSE-related programs & activities as required.
• Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information.

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-4 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Experience with 2-part epoxy coatings and GMP experience preferred
• Drywall experience required
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

The minimum salary for the Commercial Pinter position is $35 per hour and the maximum salary is $40 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
