Overview Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) in a hospital-based travel assignment located in Utica, New York. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,244–$2,459 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour, rotating (2x3) Location: Utica, NY (hospital setting) Local radius consideration: local candidates within 75 miles eligible for local rate Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for obstetric patients across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages Monitor maternal and fetal status, perform assessments, and administer medications and IV therapy as ordered Support newborn care and GYN/OB procedures as part of the L&D team Collaborate with obstetric, anesthesia, and neonatal teams; maintain appropriate RN‑to‑patient ratios (typical 1:1 to 1:2) Document care in Epic/Stork EMR; participate in standard quality and safety initiatives Manage procedures related to labor, delivery, and recovery, including perioperative support for cesarean sections; provide neonatal observation as needed Float to pediatric or adult units as needed within scope of practice Requirements 4–5 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications Obstetrics knowledge across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, GYN, and newborn care Epic/Stork EMR experience Willingness to work days and nights on a rotating 12-hour schedule Ability to float to pediatric or adult units as needed within scope Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment Credentialing and onboarding assistance 24/7 staffing and support from the Healthforce Healthcare LLC team Orientation resources and ongoing assignment support #J-18808-Ljbffr Healthforce
