Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in intensive care units, ensuring their clinical needs are met with precision and compassion. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced patient care for ICU patients, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention.
• Operate specialty equipment such as CRRT (Prismaflex or NxStage), ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM devices.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic medical records, particularly using EPIC.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations, utilizing current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Support patient recovery through comprehensive post-surgical and trauma management.
• Float to various units as needed, maintaining flexibility and adaptability.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid NY RN license with active credentials and verification.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years ICU experience, with 4-5 years preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ICU-specific skills, including CRRT and Prismaflex.
• Current AHA certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Document at least 2 years of travel or float experience in ICU settings.
• Possess a valid driver's license matching current address.
