Position Overview

Fairweather Health Care LLC is seeking dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioners to join our urgent care team in Houston, Texas. This full-time position allows you to leverage your clinical expertise to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. As an essential member of our healthcare team, you will diagnose and treat a variety of health conditions while educating patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.

Work Environment

The role will be based onsite in a modern hospital setting, providing urgent care services. You will work a structured schedule of 40 hours per week, typically from Monday to Friday, starting at 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and review patient medical histories to inform treatment plans.
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests such as blood tests and X-rays to assist in patient diagnoses.
• Diagnose acute and chronic conditions, formulating effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Administer and prescribe medications while maintaining compliance with legal regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and mitigate any discrepancies in healthcare documentation.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive health practices.
• Collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, sharing insights and strategies regularly in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will interact with a wide range of patients presenting with urgent health issues, from pediatric cases to adult emergencies. Your ability to communicate effectively and empathetically will be vital in delivering high standards of care and building strong patient relationships.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner (ANP/FNP certification required).
• A valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas.
• A current DEA number is mandatory.
• Proven clinical experience in urgent care, primary care, emergency department, or related specialties.
• Fluency in Spanish is essential to effectively communicate with our diverse patient community.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a strong ethical foundation.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in acute care, internal medicine, cardiology, or family health is preferred. Demonstrated expertise in managing chronic conditions and promoting health education will be beneficial. Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000, depending on your experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
