Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and maintain positive, trusting relationships with clients to enhance therapeutic rapport and encourage open communication.

• Conduct therapy sessions for individuals and couples, integrating effective therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or Narrative Therapy as appropriate.

• Regularly assess and monitor patient progress, adapting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and client feedback to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Refer clients to ancillary specialists or services as necessary, fostering a comprehensive approach to mental health and well-being.

• Engage in professional development activities, including attending training sessions or workshops related to mental health best practices and methodologies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to align on treatment plans and improve client care, sharing expertise and resources to enhance service delivery.

As an LMFT at Mind Canvas Counselors, you will primarily serve a diverse client population encompassing individuals, couples, and families facing a range of mental health challenges. You will work closely with patients experiencing issues such as relationship conflicts, family dynamics, depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders, delivering tailored interventions aimed at fostering resilience and promoting healthier lifestyle choices.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential.

• Experience and specialized training in addiction counseling are preferred, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practices for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
