Key Responsibilities\n

As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Providing comprehensive case management, including assessment, intervention, and follow-up services, to individuals facing severe mental health issues and addiction challenges.

• Delivering culturally sensitive counseling services tailored to meet the needs of clients from diverse socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds, ensuring each individual feels understood and respected.

• Participating actively in team meetings and case consultations to strategize effective treatment plans using evidence-based methodologies.

• Contributing to after-hours on-call services, ensuring that clients have access to support during evenings and weekends as necessary.

• Engaging in ongoing training programs and supervision sessions to satisfy all agency licensing requirements and enhance therapeutic skills.

• Connecting clients with community resources, services, and supports to promote overall well-being and recovery.

• Maintaining meticulous records of client interactions and treatment plans within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will encompass working with a varied patient population, focusing on adults and youth managing mental health disorders, addictions, and intellectual disabilities. You'll employ a strengths-based approach to empower clients, promoting resilience and recovery through personalized therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Washington.

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified through a third-party background check.
\n
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
