Key Responsibilities\n

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your role will encompass a variety of essential functions, including:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients and develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Utilizing a combination of traditional and alternative therapeutic approaches to design and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique issues faced by each client.

• Providing flexible counseling sessions, both remote and occasional in-person if required, for individuals, couples, families, or groups, depending on their needs and circumstances.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including therapy session notes, treatment progress, and client communications, to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily support clients who are facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and adjustment disorders. Given the nature of our community health clinic, you will also work with individuals navigating more specific challenges, such as cancer diagnosis and survivorship—ensuring they receive comprehensive emotional and psychological support throughout all phases of their journey.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• No history of Medical Malpractice Claims, verified through a third party.
\n
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Experience\n
