Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions, concerns, and needs accurately.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness approaches.

• Provide therapeutic services through a blend of in-person (as needed) and virtual counseling sessions tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate support groups and therapeutic interventions that promote community and build coping strategies among participants.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and provide holistic support to clients.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal care.
\n
• Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards while advocating for the mental health needs of clients.
\n
• Participate in regular training and supervision to stay current on best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients facing a variety of challenges, including those coping with mental health issues, chronic illnesses, and emotional distress. This role emphasizes a compassionate approach to care, with a focus on providing psychosocial support during critical life transitions. Clients may include individuals battling cancer, alongside their families and caregivers, who require emotional and psychological assistance throughout the treatment process.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.

• No history of Medical Malpractice Claims, verified by a third party.
\n
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with patients coping with chronic illnesses, particularly cancer, is highly desirable.

• Previous experience in a virtual counseling environment strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with healthcare systems and available community resources.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 - 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
