This position operates in a fully remote telehealth setting, allowing for flexibility that meets both the needs of our clients and the personal preferences of our counselors. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and submit all necessary records within 48 hours of service completion to ensure compliance and quality of care.
\n
• Provide timely emergency support in line with our established after-hours on-call schedule, ensuring clients have access to assistance when they need it most.
\n
• Participate in programmatic meetings, including clinical supervision and staff collaborations, fostering a team-oriented approach to mental health care.
\n
• Create and execute evidence-based psychotherapy sessions for clients facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and adjustment disorders.
\n
• Coordinate with inter-agency partners to deliver holistic care tailored to each client's needs, ensuring comprehensive support systems are in place.
\n
• Prepare thorough discharge summaries and facilitate transitions of care for clients as they reach treatment milestones.
\n
• Provide therapy in various modalities, including individual, family, and group settings, adapting techniques to suit the diverse needs of each client.
\n
• Engage in collaborative referrals, monitoring client progress with partners and adapting care plans as necessary to promote optimal outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a human services-related field is required.

• You must possess valid licensure to practice in the District of Columbia as either an LPC, LMFT, or LICSW.

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is preferable, although we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing telehealth services is highly desirable, as well as familiarity with evidence-based practices.

• Clinical experience with issues such as substance abuse, trauma, and adjustment disorders will be advantageous.

• Previous involvement in collaborative care models and multidisciplinary teams is a plus.
