Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) Test Equipment (TE) Development Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL)

Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) Development Test Equipment (TE) – Onsite position in Tucson, AZ. Requires an active and transferable Secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance, to be held prior to start. U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities Lead a cross‑functional team of 5–7 Test Equipment Engineers (mechanical, electrical, systems, software). Lead the design and development lifecycle of TE, including requirements definition, architecture, design reviews, hardware/software integration, verification, validation and Release‑to‑Production coordination. Oversee TE architecture, trade studies, prototype build, integration planning, and technical reviews throughout the development lifecycle. Manage TE integration, verification, validation activities, ensuring system‑level testing readiness and eventual factory deployment. Coordinate with Program Management and Chief Engineering to prioritize tasks, manage risks and enforce technical rigor. Partner with REA, PTE, ME and SMEs to meet capability, performance and manufacturability expectations. Support transition of new TE into production, including Release‑to‑Production, training and technical support for initial deployment. Engage suppliers for hardware/software development, design reviews, qualification activities and factory acceptance tests. Manage TE development budgets and schedules, including performance reporting, EAC updates, and cost/schedule variance analysis. Maintain IPT project tracking system and hold RAs accountable for technical progress. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in TE design practices, technologies and processes. Identify staffing/resource needs and remove programmatic or technical barriers. Mentor and coach junior engineers to grow technical depth. Travel occasionally for supplier engagement, development testing and engineering reviews. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in STEM field and at least 8 years of relevant experience (or equivalent). Experience in Test Equipment or Test Systems Engineering; hardware, software and/or systems engineering. Experience in test system development: requirements, design, integration, verification, validation or qualification. Familiarity with program management tools: EVMS, IMP, IMS, and risk/or opportunity management. Experience with budget control, schedule management, EAC process, or financial reporting. EVMS certification, Program Management certification, or ability to obtain within 12 months. Active Secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance required prior to start. Preferred Prior IPTL, project management or technical leadership experience. Experience developing test equipment or automated test systems. Experience collaborating across engineering disciplines, program management, suppliers and customers. Experience contributing to proposals, including writing basis of estimates.
