As we continue to pursue new goals, it's an exciting time to join the Bragg team. We are currently hiring a Payroll Administrator in our Long Beach, CA headquarters. Key Responsibilities: Timesheet Management: Track and ensure timely and accurate submission of field timesheets. Payroll Processing: Review and balance timesheet data for weekly payroll processing using custom software. Report Generation: Create and distribute weekly and monthly payroll reports, including Union reports. Issue Resolution: Address payroll questions and discrepancies, escalating complex issues as needed. Interdepartmental Communication: Respond to requests from internal and external departments. Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with company and customer personnel, providing analytical support when needed. Confidentiality Maintenance: Ensure employee confidentiality in record keeping and compliance with privacy laws. Required Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent. Experience: 2+ years of experience processing payroll. Payroll Knowledge: Familiarity with union and non-union payroll. Privacy Law Knowledge: Understanding of state and federal privacy laws. Wage and Hour Laws: Knowledge of state and multistate wage and hour laws. Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, as well as proficiency in basic math operations and data sorting. Preferred Qualifications: Software Experience: Experience with Sage300 (Timberline) construction or Ceridian Dayforce software. Certified Payroll: Familiarity with certified payroll. Work Environment Location: Must be able to commute to Long Beach, CA headquarters as needed Physical Conditions: Standard office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. May occasionally require standing or moving between office areas.
