Functional Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Milpitas, California. As a member of our onsite rehabilitation center, you will work within an inviting and professional atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individualized therapy sessions, typically managing 1–2 patients per hour , employing a hands-on approach to assess and address physical disabilities or limitations.
• Implement evidence-based practices to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address mobility, strength, pain reduction, and functional performance tailored to each patient's needs.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress in the WebPT system, enhancing communication within the multidisciplinary team to adjust treatment protocols as necessary.
• Engage proactively with patients to ensure they comprehend their treatment plan and feel supported throughout their recovery journey.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic modalities and exercises to promote healing and recovery, ensuring compliance with safety standards and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on treating patients who require rehabilitation following orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. This may involve working with a diverse patient demographic, providing you with the opportunity to employ a range of therapeutic techniques to meet varying needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; however, a Master's or Doctorate is preferred.
• Possession of an active California Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing comprehensive treatment plans and effective one-on-one patient engagements.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt treatment strategies based on patient feedback and outcome measures.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with both patients and colleagues, fostering an encouraging treatment environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years' experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating the ability to handle a diverse caseload.
• Experience with electronic health record systems, particularly WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 – 130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
