Work Environment

This position is based in our state-of-the-art outpatient office in Cupertino, known for its advanced therapy equipment and supportive clinical team. The facility is designed to foster patient engagement and recovery, providing ample space for therapeutic activities and exercises. The clinic operates within a Monday to Friday schedule, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life approach for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized treatment plans for 1 to 2 patients per hour, focusing on their unique rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities to promote functional movement and relieve pain, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress and modify therapy interventions as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain detailed patient records using WebPT, ensuring accurate documentation for effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, working alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on treating individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our diverse patient population includes athletes aiming for performance enhancement and older adults seeking pain relief and improved mobility. By fostering a therapeutic partnership with each patient, our goal is to empower them to achieve their personal recovery objectives.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and active Physical Therapist license in California, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A patient-centered approach, showing empathy, support, and encouragement to patients during their journey to recovery.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in an outpatient setting, particularly in orthopedic therapy.
• Experience using electronic health record systems, preferably WebPT.
• Proven ability to develop and implement customized rehabilitation plans based on patient evaluations.

Compensation and Benefits

• A competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
