Work Environment

The work setting is an onsite outpatient office, designed to facilitate a range of rehabilitation activities. Key Responsibilities

• Administer individualized physical therapy assessments for each patient to create and implement customized treatment plans focused on restoring mobility and alleviating pain.
• Engage with patients through hands-on therapy sessions, treating 1-2 patients per hour, and utilizing evidence-based techniques to promote movement and improve function.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and adapt therapy plans accordingly, ensuring that recovery goals are met effectively.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and treatments in WebPT, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and facilitating effective communication with the healthcare team.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other health care professionals to develop comprehensive rehabilitation strategies tailored to individual patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, surgical procedures, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. This role requires a compassionate approach, as patients often seek assistance during challenging times in their lives. Your ability to develop rapport and trust with clients will be essential in promoting their engagement in the rehabilitation process and improving their outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of an active California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Evidence of strong analytical skills and a commitment to providing patient-focused care are essential for success in this role.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a physical therapist, preferably in an orthopedic outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
