Work Environment

This is an onsite position located in our state-of-the-art outpatient office, where collaboration and communication are key. You will work alongside a small yet highly skilled team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our facilities are well-equipped with the necessary tools and technology to provide effective treatment and rehabilitation services, ensuring that our employees have the resources they need to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to establish baseline function, needs, and goals.
• Design, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient assessments and progress.
• Maintain a patient load of approximately one individual per hour, ensuring focused, personalized treatment.
• Utilize a diverse range of treatment techniques, incorporating manual therapy and exercise prescriptions to improve patient mobility.
• Aim for cost-effective treatment solutions that minimize reliance on medications and promote non-surgical options.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation process to enhance their functional outcomes and overall health.
• Engage in regular collaboration with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize treatment effectiveness.
• Monitor and document all aspects of patient care continuously to track progress and facilitate seamless communication among team members.
• Promote health and wellness initiative programs designed to enhance patient strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness regularly and modify approaches as necessary to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Grandcare Physical Therapy Services, our patient demographic primarily consists of individuals with orthopedic conditions covered by private medical insurance. This may include post-surgical rehabilitation patients, athletes seeking recovery from injuries, and individuals with chronic pain issues. Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and be licensed to practice in California.
• Record of clean licensure with no disciplinary actions or board actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective exercise routines are essential.
• Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Previous employment in a private practice or sports medicine environment.
• Experience in developing creative rehabilitation and prevention programs tailored to various patient needs.
• Success in working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team atmosphere.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
