Functional Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Milpitas, California. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to develop personalized therapy plans aimed at restoring mobility and alleviating pain.
• Administer one-on-one therapy sessions, treating 1–2 patients per hour while ensuring a high standard of care and attention.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to promote recovery and sustained improvement.
• Continuously assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on clinical outcomes and feedback.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient care and progress in the WebPT electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate closely with medical professionals and participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and strategies for improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient orthopedic practice caters to a diverse patient population, primarily individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions. You will work with a variety of patients, including athletes, older adults, and individuals seeking to regain functionality in their daily lives. Tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each patient will be paramount to your success in this role.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in California, or eligibility to obtain one, is mandatory.
• Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to providing patient-centered care.
• Strong problem-solving skills to effectively address and adapt to the varied needs of patients.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience as a physical therapist is required, candidates with experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy will be especially considered. Familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques and a track record of successfully managing various patient conditions will set you apart.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 120,000 and 130,000, commensurate with experience.
