Location: Bossier City, LA

Start Date: 09/08/2026

End Date: 12/05/2026

Shift: 12H Night shift

Hours/Week: 36-48 hours (full-time)

Employment Type: Travel Assignment

Licensure/Certs: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB

Experience: Minimum 2 years ER experience required; 1-year acute care experience for first-time travelers

Hourly Pay Rate: $52.26

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages, including infants to end-of-life
• Manage patients with diverse acuity levels in MedSurg, Stepdown, and ICU settings
• Administer critical care interventions such as ventilator management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and titration of critical drips
• Assist with procedures like splinting, drains, chest tubes, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Collaborate with hospitalist teams and ED physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Support patient stabilization and trauma care, including stroke, STEMI, NSTEMI, and sepsis cases
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech Expanse EMR system

What You Need

• Required:
  • Active RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years ER or emergency care experience
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB
  • Proficiency in ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, and critical care procedures
• Preferred:
  • Experience in trauma and stroke care
  • Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills
