Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of acute and chronic medical conditions affecting our residents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including ordering necessary diagnostic tests to monitor and evaluate resident health.
• Utilize your prescriptive authority to manage medications and therapies, making adjustments as needed based on the evolving needs of your patients.
• Educate residents and their families about health promotion, disease prevention, and care management to improve their overall well-being.
• Collaborate seamlessly with team members across various disciplines to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date medical records, utilizing our electronic health record system to document assessments, treatments, and ongoing progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on elderly residents within our Assisted Living Facility, providing essential medical care tailored to address their unique health challenges. The Nurse Practitioner plays a pivotal role in managing chronic illnesses, preventive care, and overall health management, ensuring that each resident maintains optimal health and comfort.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited certifying body.
• An active nursing license for the state of Texas.
• A Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution to ensure advanced knowledge and skill set.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in nursing, with a preference for experience in geriatrics or assisted living environments.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and a strong commitment to high-quality patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 220,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
