Liberton Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. This full-time position will allow you to work remotely while providing vital mental health support to individuals, couples, and families through our innovative Telehealth platform. Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, offering flexibility for both our clients and therapists. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans in line with client needs.

• Maintain an active caseload of a minimum of 27 client visits weekly for full-time status, ensuring each client's progress is continually assessed and documented.
\n
• Engage creatively in therapeutic interventions, adapting approaches to motivate clients and help them reach and exceed their mental health goals.
\n
• Prepare and submit thorough session documentation, including treatment plans and clinical case notes, following company policies and state regulations.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, medical professionals, and educational staff, to coordinate care and provide holistic support for clients.
\n
• Participate actively in clinical staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development and contribute to a positive team culture.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve supporting a diverse client base that includes individuals and families across various backgrounds, with particular attention to the needs of BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. The focus will be on delivering personalized care that respects and values each client's unique experiences and perspectives, fostering an inclusive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• Valid LMFT license required for practice in Massachusetts.
\n
• Proven experience in completing clinical documentation, including assessments and treatment plans.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation.
\n
• Ability to create and maintain suitable professional boundaries within therapeutic relationships.
\n
• Experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
\n
• Proficiency in Office 365 and familiarity with Electronic Health Records systems (knowledge of Valant is a plus).

• Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling is preferred, showcasing adaptability to virtual service delivery.

• Demonstrated ability to use creative therapeutic techniques to engage clients effectively.
