The company is proud of its broad portfolio of nearly 10,000 active patents, and is focused on fully leveraging its highly differentiated business model to deliver solid growth with consistent best-in-class margins and return on capital.Basic FunctionsThis person will provide payroll administration and accounts payable support to the Finance department.Essential Duties and ResponsibilityProcess bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls for Brooks USAudit time schedules records, resolve exceptions and errorsMaintain employee profiles in the system, handling new hires, terminations, rate changes etc.Validate complex pay components like overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, etc.Answer day-to-day employee and manager payroll inquiriesStrong attention to detail, time-management capabilities, and strict adherence to data confidentialityAssist in processing AP invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely paymentReview and verify invoices and payment requests for appropriate documentation and approval (both inventory and general spending)Interact with appropriate departments to complete required functions (HR, Materials, Receiving, etc.)Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to accounts payableAssist in the execution of payments and manage vendor relationsAssist in month-end and year-end closing processes to guarantee timely and accurate financial reportingAssist with special projects supporting continual improvement initiativesRegular attendance and the ability to follow all safety proceduresAbility to work cross-functionally and get along with others in a team environmentOther duties as assignedEducation and ExperienceAssociatedegree in Accounting/Finance or minimum 2 years of Payroll experiencePC knowledge with Microsoft Office or equivalent experience required.BenefitsOur employees enjoy competitive, merit-based salary plus excellent benefits including:Health and dental insuranceCompany Paid Life InsuranceShort and Long Term Disability401K plan with generous company matchVacation, personal days and holidaysContinuing education reimbursement programFlexible spending accounts The opportunity to join a well established (80 years in business) yet dynamically changing organization that works together as a team to meet the challenges of satisfying customers’ needs and managing rapid growth to better compete in a global marketplace.ITW is an equal opportunity employer.
