Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and interviews with clients, documenting their mental, behavioral, and emotional health status from the first consultation to the completion of their treatment.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, based on thorough evaluations.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to address various mental health issues, employing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Monitor the clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate closely with other mental health practitioners, physicians, and social workers to create cohesive treatment plans that are comprehensive and client-focused.
\n
• Follow up with psychiatrists and other care providers regarding clients admitted to hospitals to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement strategies to minimize these obstacles.
\n
• Support family members and caregivers in understanding and managing the mental and behavioral challenges encountered by their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse client base, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and seniors, each experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful therapeutic atmosphere will help empower clients on their path to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW within the state of Nevada.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated clinical experience as a mental health counselor, well-versed in various therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to maintain accurate records and treatment documentation.
\n
• Familiarity with the best practices set by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients with co-occurring physical health and emotional health conditions as well as substance use disorders.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of the psychotropic medications prescribed by medical professionals and their potential effects on mental health.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of effective interpersonal relationships and empathy in client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
