Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' functional status and therapeutic needs to develop tailored care plans focusing on achieving recovery goals.
• Implement patient-centered therapy practices, including evaluations, treatment interventions, and progress tracking, in accordance with physician directives.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions utilizing techniques and procedures specifically aligned with patients' recovery objectives.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, proper use of therapeutic appliances, and strategies for continued improvement outside of therapy sessions.
• Facilitate effective communication by prioritizing caseloads, coordinating daily staffing needs, and managing patient handoffs to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will focus on a diverse patient demographic, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions requiring rehabilitation. We serve both adults and pediatric patients, tailoring our approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring that all patients receive comprehensive, personalized care that enhances their functional abilities and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license to practice in California.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required to be completed within 30 days of employment.

Preferred Experience

• While no prior experience is required, candidates with experience in home health or orthopedic rehabilitation will be preferred.
