Work Environment

You will work in an onsite rehabilitation facility designed for patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, interpreting examination findings to assess functional limitations and establish effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Design and implement rehabilitation programs, including strength and flexibility training methodologies, to help patients achieve their recovery goals.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches to administer therapeutic modalities and therapeutic exercises aimed at pain reduction and functional improvement.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, injury prevention, and strategies to promote overall wellness and independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, ensuring a coordinated approach to each patient's recovery journey.
• Participate in departmental quality assurance initiatives by maintaining high standards of care, documenting services accurately, and adhering to compliance guidelines.
• Lead physical therapy sessions ensuring the safety and well-being of patients while providing motivated oversight and guidance.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying updated on the latest research and techniques in physical therapy practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on patients with orthopedic conditions resulting from sports injuries, post-operative recovery, and chronic pain syndromes. The diverse patient demographic ranges from young athletes to seniors recovering from joint replacements. You will play a crucial role in helping each patient navigate their unique rehabilitation pathways, fostering independence and improved function in their daily lives.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist License issued by the State of California is required upon hire.
• A National Provider Identifier (NPI) is necessary at the time of employment.
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program, holding at least a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
• A thorough knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation protocols and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in orthopedic settings.
• Experience with specific treatment techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, and patient education.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
