Work Environment

This position is onsite at our rehabilitation facility, where you will be part of a dynamic healthcare team committed to excellence in patient care. You will work in a supportive environment alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who share a common goal of enhancing patient experiences. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 8 PM, providing a structured schedule that allows for work-life balance while accommodating the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual therapeutic needs and develop customized treatment plans.
• Implement and oversee physical therapy interventions, modifying them as necessary to ensure optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
• Engage closely with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care, taking an active role in multidisciplinary meetings.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and the proper use of equipment like prosthetic devices.
• Document clinical findings and patient progress consistently, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Monitor patient progress throughout the continuum of care and adjust treatment plans as needed to meet clinical goals.
• Support patient education initiatives, empowering patients and caregivers with knowledge to promote recovery at home.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population encompasses individuals of all ages, from children to seniors, each facing unique orthopedic challenges. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain conditions, and mobility impairments. Your role will be critical in enabling patients to regain functional independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensing as a Physical Therapist in California is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is mandatory or the ability to acquire it within the first 30 days of employment.
• Strong commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork and patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• While no previous experience is required, any internships or clinical rotations in orthopedics will be considered an asset.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and rehabilitation therapy modalities would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
