Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring that each assessment is tailored to individual needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with the unique goals and preferences of each client, employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices, empowering them with the knowledge to participate actively in their recovery.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, making timely adjustments to treatment plans to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to client care.

• Stay informed about the latest research developments and best practices related to mood disorders, continuously refining treatment strategies to enhance client welfare.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve primarily include individuals and families facing various mood disorders. Many of these clients may be dealing with significant emotional distress, life transitions, or relationship challenges. Your role will focus on creating a safe, trusting space that promotes open dialogue and facilitates healing. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique stories and provide the compassionate care needed to foster recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
