Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique requirements, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Monitor and document client progress effectively, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, comprehensive care for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research in mood disorders to continually enhance treatment approaches and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve assisting families and individuals facing various mood disorders, providing a safe space where they can express their thoughts and feelings. Qualifications\n

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' experiences and challenges.
