About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Senior Accountant to support our U.S. finance operations. This role will be responsible for reviewing payroll, maintaining accounts receivable, Leases & Fixed assets and supporting day-to-day accounting and reconciliation activities. This roll will be integral to the month end close process. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience with US GAAP and payroll, and a proactive, hands-on approach to daily operations. What You’ll Do Accounting Operations: Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, accruals, and month-end close tasks. Maintain accounts receivable, invoice customers Perform detailed account reconciliations related to banks, revenue, payroll, benefits, employee reimbursements and more. Monitor GL accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Process Improvement & Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls over payroll and compensation accounting. Identify and propose improvements to streamline payroll and cost accounting processes. Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits related to payroll and compensation What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 7+ years of payroll and/or general accounting experience, preferably in a U.S. GAAP based company. Exposure to multi-entity corporations, international exposure is a plus. Familiarity with NetSuite Strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality. Nice to Have Exposure to cost accounting or expense allocation practices. Understanding of equity or bonus compensation accounting is a plus.
