Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to be on-site at one of our corporate offices, preferably in Oak Ridge, TN; Tempe, AZ; or Albuquerque, NM. Remote work will be considered for highly qualified candidates. Who brings a proven track record of leading winning federal proposals, ideally in the nuclear, environmental, construction, or industrial markets, to join our Strategic Proposal Center and lead proposals across our network of companies.In this position, you will lead or support a variety of sales, business development, and marketing activities such as strategic proposals, task order proposals, qualification statements, and presentations. You'll manage the full life cycle of proposal development, partnering with capture managers and technical SMEs to write compelling and compliant proposal content (technical and management approaches, past performance, resumes, etc.) that is tailored to clients' objectives. You will also collaborate with a team of writers and graphic designers and ensure that proposals are compliant and compelling. (Construction, environmental, ext.)Will be comfortable with operating in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment and may occasionally require extended hours or weekend work during peak proposal periods.Has a strong understanding of federal government contracting and the federal government's procurement lifecycleExcels at managing the proposal process and writing compelling narrativeHas a basic understanding of cost and pricing methodologiesIs motivated to be a part of a rapidly changing and growing environmentIs self-motivated and comfortable working independently to lead pursuits or being a team member and proposal contributorWhat You'll Need To Have;Bachelor's degree in related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience working with a Proposal Centers; Proposal experience with the federal government procurement process and managing large, complex proposals for the federal government and or state agencies.Solid understanding of federal RFP structures and compliance requirementsExperience using proposal management and collaboration toolsIntermediate to advanced knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat ProfessionalMust be willing and able to travel To Be Successful You'll Also Need;Critical thinking skills with ability to read, understand, and communicate technical requirementsAbility to effectively communicate and collaborate with senior leaders, capture managers, subject matter experts, proposal support teams, and teaming partners/subcontractorsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and spellingSkilled in managing multiple assignments with varying degrees of complexity and competing deadlinesAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesHas an ownership mentality and is accountable for complianceInterpret and manage government solicitation requirementsAdaptability to changing prioritiesIdeally You'll Have;Certification or training in Shipley process, APMP, -, or other relevant organization is highly desiredEEO StatementAIS Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
