Job Description

Right At School- Hiring Payroll Coordinator

As a Payroll Coordinator, You will:

Act as a System Administrator and subject matter expert for all payroll-related questions in Right at School's payroll platform
Train new managers on how to approve timesheets complete payroll related tasks within the system
Maintain company and employee records within all Right at School systems
Answer payroll-related questions from both employees and managers
Partner with managers to collect and verify timesheets on a bi-weekly basis
Issue paychecks to all Right at School employees
Produce Payroll reports & interpret data for management and auditing purposes
Finalize expense reports for the company each payroll
Administer Pay Cards to managers, training them on pay card policies
Issue final-paychecks while adhering to Right at School's policies and payroll laws
Ensure Right at School remains in compliance with all payroll-related laws

What We are Looking for:

2+ years' experience in a professional work environment, customer service experience is a plus
Someone with critical thinking skills, a positive attitude, and strong attention to detail
Someone who isn't afraid to ask questions & solve problems creatively
A passionate, life-long learner
An individual who can maintain strict confidentiality
An analytical mind and proficient math skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Active and empathetic listening skills
Familiarity with payroll processes, including compliance & tax laws is a plus, but not required
Comfortable with Excel and data interpretation
Proven history of process improvement & time-saving efficiencies
