Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific needs and goals of patients entering our substance use treatment program. This includes evaluating mental health history, substance use patterns, and co-occurring disorders.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based therapeutic approaches, tailored to each individual’s recovery path.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions where you will employ techniques like motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to foster meaningful change in clients’ lives.

• Lead dynamic group therapy sessions designed to enhance recovery support through peer interaction, sharing experiences, and practicing coping strategies.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care and improve patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention support when necessary, ensuring immediate help for individuals experiencing substance-related emergencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily support adults seeking assistance for substance use disorders. Our patients often face significant challenges related to addiction, including but not limited to co-occurring mental health conditions. As a critical member of our treatment team, you will work collaboratively with individuals and their families to develop effective strategies that promote recovery and enhance quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering both individual and group therapy within an addiction treatment context.

Compensation and Benefits\n
