This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to consult with clients from the comfort of your own home while providing the flexibility needed for work-life balance. Although primarily remote, the therapist may occasionally meet clients at our outpatient office in Lowell for in-person sessions as appropriate. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, establish clinical diagnoses, and design personalized treatment plans that address individual needs.

• Deliver therapeutic sessions through individual, group, and family therapy, employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant therapeutic techniques.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring their safety and well-being while connecting them with appropriate resources.

• Maintain diligent and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment outcomes, in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and coordinate treatment approaches.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and various treatment options, while advocating for their rights and needs within the healthcare system.

• Engage in professional development through workshops and training to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.

As a therapist at Hills on Top Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse client population experiencing various mental health issues, ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship struggles. Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current license as a mental health therapist (LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
