Divorce and Family Law Attorney

Alber Firm P.C. is expanding its national footprint into Texas, with a particular focus on the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth region. We are seeking an experienced divorce and family law attorney to serve as our State/Regional Managing Partner. This is an opportunity to help lead our Texas family law practice while continuing to focus on practicing law. Alber Firm P.C. provides the centralized operational infrastructure, technology, and workflow support so you can focus on legal work, client representation, and regional leadership. About the Role This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced divorce and family law attorney who wants to take an active role in shaping and overseeing a regional practice. The role combines hands-on legal practice with regional leadership, including managing complex matters, mentoring attorneys, and helping establish the firm's presence in the market. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently, making strategic decisions, and taking ownership of the practice's day-to-day legal operations. Responsibilities Manage a caseload of complex divorce and family law matters from intake through resolution. Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, trials, and other court proceedings. Develop case strategies and provide sound legal advice to clients. Independently manage deadlines, filings, discovery, and all aspects of case preparation. Provide leadership and oversight for the regional family law practice. Collaborate with Alber Firm P.C.'s centralized support team to ensure efficient case management and client service. Maintain high standards of professionalism, legal ethics, and client communication. Help establish and grow the firm's presence in the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth market. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in Texas and in good standing. Significant experience practicing divorce and family law. Strong courtroom and litigation experience. Ability to independently manage complex cases from intake through resolution. Strong legal judgment, written and oral advocacy, and client communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of matters. Leadership skills and the ability to help develop a regional practice. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Portable business is not required.
