Senior Manager, Global Sponsorship

The Senior Manager, Global Sponsorship is part of the Global Partnerships team that manages and executes League sponsorship deals and relationships. Key duties include managing day-to-day relationships with League partners, including activations, strategy, planning, creative, and work across the League to support partner initiatives. This role serves as the project leader across key NFL events and tentpoles. The Senior Manager will also lead international territory activations at international games, working closely with global offices. The position also requires sales skills and asset creation/development with execution. Responsibilities Manage the relationship with 7-9 NFL domestic and global partners; responsible for strategic planning of season-long activation programs, day-to-day partner activations, and contractual deliverables Lead weekly status calls with partner and agency teams, while also organizing and tracking internal account team tasks for partner deliverables Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (including Marketing, Events, Community Relations, Media, PR, Brand, Legal etc.) to align partner programs and League initiatives Responsible for partner upsell opportunities, including asset development, sales pitch, and program execution Manage account Coordinators Support the Sponsorship Director on renewals, contractual deliverables, and overall business planning Act as the on-site activation lead at NFL events, including oversight of experiential activations and partner experiences Lead international game territory and closely collaborate with global General Managers and activation teams Lead international hospitality program for dedicated territory and ensure partner activations for territory are delivered Serve as cross-departmental project manager lead on specific projects to secure and execute partner deliverables (Flag Championships, Draft, Kickoff, etc) Lead weekly Manager meetings to discuss priorities, partner needs, and project management Build and develop relationships with partner contacts, including client hosting at NFL events All responsibilities include supporting Global business of the NFL Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 8-10 years of experience in sports or with agency Preferred Qualifications Sports Sponsorship background League or Club experience Client management experience Sales/Revenue generation Additional language proficiency preferred Other Key Attributes / Characteristics Self-starter with strong work ethic Team player Strong communication skills Problem solver Creative thinker Good with time management Organized Terms / Expected Hours of Work Work will exceed 40 hours per week Planning and execution of events Some weekend/global travel work for hosting clients Travel around planning and executing events…25% of time Salary / Pay Range This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
