Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and families, tailoring your approach to meet diverse cultural needs.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions based on comprehensive evaluations of each client's unique requirements.

• Manage all aspects of documentation including billing, treatment planning, and insurance authorizations within prescribed time frames, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to support clients' ongoing stability.
\n
• Create detailed discharge plans to facilitate smooth transitions and ongoing care post-therapy.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
\n
• Participate in mandatory training and ongoing professional education to maintain licensure and improve therapeutic techniques.

• Engage in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and strategies for best practices in mental health care.

Your role will primarily involve working with diverse clients from various backgrounds, addressing a wide range of mental health challenges. You will support individuals and families through difficult times, focusing on empowering clients by building on their strengths and promoting resilience. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or related field that qualifies you for licensure.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of New Jersey is required.

• Experience in providing individual and family therapy within a community health setting is highly desirable.
