Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly patients, focusing on their unique cognitive, emotional, and social needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, integrating knowledge of physical health conditions and social factors affecting mental well-being.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including both individual and family therapy sessions, to effectively address various geriatric psychiatric conditions.

• Work closely with geriatric psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize integrated care.

• Provide support and crisis intervention during mental health emergencies for elderly patients, leveraging your expertise and training to stabilize situations.

• Offer educational resources to patients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Active, valid licensure as LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.
