Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their background and current situation.

• Provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy, family sessions, and group therapies, aimed at addressing disorders such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with professional and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to monitor progress and treatment efficacy.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, engaging in case consultations to ensure cohesive and coordinated care for patients.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their journey towards mental wellness.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, including attending workshops and team meetings, to stay current with the latest practices in child and adolescent mental health.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stability for young patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents struggling with various mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and related behavioral disorders. You will work to nurture a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship with young patients and their families, advocating for their needs and facilitating positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active licensure as either an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada is essential to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Demonstrated expertise in child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic techniques, with a strong understanding of developmentally appropriate approaches.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary, particularly the ability to relate empathetically to children and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
