Key Responsibilities

• Own and support key components of the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Maintain and improve general ledger accuracy across a high-volume, multi-entity environment
• Analyze close timelines and identify opportunities to reduce cycle time and increase efficiency
• Lead and support process improvement initiatives, including automation, standardization, and system enhancements
• Develop and implement templates, tools, and workflows to streamline accounting processes
• Partner cross-functionally with finance and operations teams to improve data accuracy and reporting
• Support internal and external audit requests and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Prepare and analyze financial data, including variance analysis and flux explanations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4 years of progressive accounting experience; experience in large, high-volume companies strongly preferred
• Strong general ledger and close process experience, ideally within a fast-paced environment with tight close timelines (2–3 day close experience preferred)
• Proven track record of process improvement, automation, or system implementation
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs; Power Query or VBA strongly preferred)
• Experience with large ERP systems required
• Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, or SQL is a strong plus
• CPA or CPA track is highly preferred
