Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

LHH is partnering with a respected law firm seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Closer to join its growing real estate practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced law firm environment and enjoys managing sophisticated commercial real estate transactions from start to finish. 3+ Years of Law Firm Experience Required About the Role The ideal candidate has substantial experience handling commercial real estate closings and is comfortable working independently while supporting multiple transactions simultaneously. You will work closely with attorneys, clients, lenders, title companies, surveyors, and other transaction stakeholders to ensure deals close smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Manage commercial real estate transactions from due diligence through closing and post-closing. Coordinate with attorneys, lenders, title companies, surveyors, clients, and other transaction parties. Review title commitments, exception documents, surveys, and closing requirements. Prepare and maintain closing checklists while tracking critical deadlines. Coordinate the preparation, execution, and delivery of closing documents and signature packages. Review settlement statements, closing statements, and transaction-related financial figures. Facilitate funding, recording, document delivery, and post-closing requirements. Organize transaction files, closing binders, and supporting documentation. Anticipate and resolve issues that could impact closing timelines. Qualifications 3-5+ years of commercial real estate closing experience in a law firm environment Strong knowledge of title, survey, escrow, recording, and closing procedures Experience supporting commercial acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and refinancing transactions Ability to independently manage multiple complex closings simultaneously Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication and client service skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems Preferred Experience Experience working with developers, investors, institutional lenders, and commercial property owners. Paralegal certificate, bachelor's degree, or equivalent legal experience is a plus. Why This Opportunity?
